Educated at Midland College & Texas Tech University, Chris has grown up with Smith Industries since his father founded the company in 2004.  No stranger to the entrepreneurial spirit, Chris started his journey as the Club Manger & Part Owner of Windwalker Farms Sporting Clays. When his dad reached out to him in 2008, he sold his half of that business to help build the Smith Industries legacy. He learned how a simple business model, with great people, can be very successful – if he remembered what his dad always told him: take care of the people and the equipment, and you’ll have the opportunity to consistently take care of the customers.

When not at work, Chris enjoys spending time in the great outdoors with family and friends as well as supporting local charities. Ask anyone, and they’ll describe Chris as solid, unconditional, real, dependable, unadulterated and consistent (which just happens to be the way he runs Smith Industries).
